The Bay Area Women’s Journal is a celebration of the abundance of opportunities available to women today.  Never before in our history, have women enjoyed so many opportunities and choices that empower them to live their best life.

Consider this:  At the beginning of the 20th century, women could not vote.  At the end of the 20th century, women’s’ support is recognized as necessary to win an election. Or how about this...It was not until the mid 1970s that women could get a loan in their name!    

We have come a long way baby!

Today women spend over $5 Trillion annually, earn over $1 Trillion, own 46% of all U.S. Small Business which generate $2.5 trillion in sales and employed 19.1 million people nationwide! Add to the list that women influence over 80% of all consumer purchasing decisions and it becomes clear that...

…the 21st Century is sure to be the century of “Women”.

The format of The Bay Area Women's Journal reflects this style.  Our goal is to provide you with a quick and informative read covering a variety of topics... Health and Wellness, Business, Money, Home, Style and Leisure.  In each edition we also profile a Bay Area Woman who is a leader in her field and cover a non-profit that helps women and children.

Published bi-monthly the BAWJ is a FREE publication that is available in both an on-line and hard-copy format.  Distributed at coffee shops, spas, gyms, grocery stores, and offices, we are able to offer our publication free of charge thanks to local business sponsors who purchase advertising space. 

Is the BAWJ just for women?

Absolutely not!  The BAWJ philosophy simply recognizes women as a very influential market.  Not only will you find men as featured authors, but you will also find men reading the BAWJ!
