Personal Branding: Your State of Mind Makes a Difference!
Your state of mind is an important tool for success in both business and in life. When marketing your charismatic personal brand, it’s more important than ever to manage the way others experience your energetic presence!

As we begin a New Year, it feels exciting and scary at the same time. It’s very important to get off to a great start by learning more about managing your own thinking. Wayne Dyer, a great spiritual teacher of mine said,
“When you change the way you look at things…the things you look at change.”
In other words, our own thinking shapes the way we see and experience life; and our personal realities are actually molded by our state of mind.
Your State of Mind and Personal Brand are One and the Same!
Your life circumstances are merely a reflection of your own thinking. Whether you want to admit it or not, your thinking influences every area of your life. The people and circumstances in your life are no accident…they are merely a reflection of your innermost thoughts.
And so too is your personal brand and the way others perceive you. Your state of mind and your personal brand are really one and the same.
People Feel Brands
People need to feel brands…and your inner thoughts will surely influence how others feel about you and how they experience your personal brand. It’s what makes you irresistible and trustworthy.
Remember…Confidence is the number one reason people buy or choose anything. So if you’re lacking a confident state of mind, your prospects will never buy into uncertainty…yours or theirs. What you think and feel is always a match to what actually manifests in you life.
Project a Total Belief in Your Own Value
To enhance your own confidence and maximize your prospect’s confidence in you, you must project a total belief in your own value and abilities. You must be able to effectively articulate them in a succinct and compelling way. And your prospect must be able to feel your positive energy and your enthusiasm for helping them.
Use the start of this New Year to consider your state of mind and its impact on how people experience your brand. Here are some of the questions I ask my clients when we begin our work together, that might help to spark your thinking:
1. Do people feel comfortable around you?
2. Can you confidently articulate your value?
3. Are prospects willing to open up to you and share their challenges?
4. Is your energy attractive and positive (or is it draining and negative)?
5. Do you bring out the best in people (or are you more critical and judgmental)?
So have a great New Year…knowing that YOU are responsible for your own state of mind and begin thinking about and attracting the bounty you so deserve!
